# `GSLayer axesValuesList:axes:`

*Instance Method*

Copies the internal values for the requested axes into a buffer.

## Declaration

```swift
func axesValuesList(_ axesValuesList: UnsafeMutablePointer<CGFloat>, axes: [GSAxis])
```

- (void) axesValuesList:(CGFloat *) axesValuesList axes:(NSArray<GSAxis *> *) axes;
```

```python
axesValuesList_axes_(axesValuesList: float, axes: list[GSAxis])
```

## Parameters

- `axesValuesList` — A buffer with at least one entry for each axis.
- `axes` — The axes that determine the buffer order.

## Discussion

Explicit Intermediate-layer coordinates take precedence over associated master values and axis defaults.
