# `GSInstance propertyListValueFormat:error:`

*Instance Method*

Returns the content of the object to store it in pList.

## Declaration

func propertyListValue(format: GSFormatVersion) throws -> [String : Any]
```

- (NSDictionary<NSString *,id> *) propertyListValueFormat:(GSFormatVersion) format error:(NSError **) error;
```

propertyListValueFormat_error_(format: GSFormatVersion) -> tuple[dict[str, object], NSError]
```

## Parameters

- `format` — The version of the dictionary format.
- `error` — On output, a pointer to an error object that describes why the method failed, or `nil` if no error occurred. If you are not interested in the error information, pass `nil` for this parameter.

## Return Value

The property list dictionary. On failure, this method returns `nil`.
