# `GSFont removeGlyph:`

*Instance Method*

Removes a glyph from the font and clears its parent.

## Declaration

func removeGlyph(_ glyph: GSGlyph)
```

removeGlyph_(glyph: GSGlyph)
```

## Discussion

This operation supports undo and updates observers and lookup caches. The glyph must belong to this font.
