# `GSFont normalizedLocationsDefaultMaster:masters:error:`

Returns normalized design-space locations for masters.

## Parameters

- `defaultMaster` — The master that defines the zero location.
- `masters` — The masters whose locations are included.
- `error` — On output, a pointer to an error object that describes why the method failed, or `nil` if no error occurred. If you are not interested in the error information, pass `nil` for this parameter.

## Discussion

Locations are keyed by OpenType axis tag. The default master defines the zero location.
