# `GSFont makeSafeGlyphInfo:`

*Instance Method*

Makes the glyph name unique among the local glyphs in the font.

## Parameters

- `glyph` — A glyph belonging to the font.

## Discussion

A numeric suffix is added when necessary. A stored production name receives the same suffix.
