# `GSFont indexOfGlyph:`

*Instance Method*

Returns the index of a local glyph in [`GSFont.glyphs`](/Core/GlyphsCore/GSFont/glyphs), or `NSNotFound` when the glyph is not present.

## Declaration

```objc
- (NSInteger) indexOfGlyph:(GSGlyph *) glyph;
```
